Hello, I used to play this game a long time ago, but due to personal circumstances, I had to stop and forgot about this game until I found my copy of Final Fantasy 8 under a pile of dust.

Anyway, the problem is that whenever I try to log into the game, it says a new update is available. I've used both the auto patcher and the manual patcher, and after both it still says an update is available!

What should I do?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Check where you are putting the manual patch. I am going to be creating a new installer shortly anyway.

The automatic patcher will take care of everything for you.

If you used the installer, you won't need a manual patch. If you have manual patch issues, you did not unzip properly.
