The triple triad offline portal has changed:

* Merit score leaderboard is now available.
* You can now redeem your cash on the web site. There are a few options to start you off. $1 minimum is required.
* 5 new achievements have been added to the cash achievements.
* 36 new achievements have been added to a new achievement group: Card Achievements
* 6 new achievements have been added to the membership achievements that go with the new cash redemption area on the portal.
* 18 new achievements of the 36 are active and is on a 10 minute delay. This means that every 10 minutes, the server will check to see if those achievements have been met. This is how game achievements will work. The other 18 (SE card achievements) will be done over the next few days.

That's pretty awesome, but why include EC's into the normal merit achievement? Or am I mistaking something.
