For reasons I won't go into, I had to uninstall and reinstall TTE.

When I did I discovered an error with the installation/download.

Notice there is a second folder in there.

Here are the contents of both folders.

Notice the deck files for example, one of them contains most of the cards, the other contains some of the recent ones and also some decks are contained in both folders, Hoenn for example.

Notice the summer 2011 cards contained in the 2nd folder (The smaller one) but not in the first, while the Bill and Ben card (World of Mana) is in both.

Here is what happened when I played a game with just the Summer 2011 cards to see if the second folder was working properly.



This would explain why the Summer 2011 deck doesn't work for most players. Somehow there are 2 Deck files and the second one containing many of the most recent decks doesn't work at all.

Yes and the point of this test was to prove that NOTHING in the second Atomic Entertainment folder that came with the download works properly.

This explains why so many people had problems with so many decks even after updating.

The Updater only picks up Halloween 2011

I haven't had any issues with missing cards and I only installed it on my Duo....a week ago? But it could be the new installer was compiled wrong (or is an old compilation). I'll download and see if I get the same results.

I downloaded the client from http://www.tripletri...LaunchGame.aspx // http://www.tripletri...es/TTESetup.exe

(Note: I'm running Windows 7 Home Edition)

Ran it once to remove TTE and all it's faculties from my computer.

Ran the installer normally; 47.7 MB (50,076,672 bytes) before update || 47.8 MB (50,212,919 bytes) after update (nether containing the Summer 2011 deck cards.)

For shits and giggles, I uninstalled again, and ran the installer with Administrative Privileges and did the same with the Updater; 47.7 MB (50,076,672 bytes) before update || 47.8 MB (50,212,919 bytes) after update (nether containing Summer 2011 deck cards.)

For further investigation, I deleted the versionfile.txt and setting.cfg which store information on how up-to-date your TTE Client is, and low-and-behold, only the Halloween deck was prompted.

I'm going to guess it's currently supposed to be shipped with Summer 2011 (and other missing cards, if there are any) so the decks aren't available to be updated to.
