Chaos deck



The basic idea is to have a deck of cards (25-35 cards) that act like Pandora's Box every time they are drawn.

The images used for the deck could use the top 5 guilds, top players in each gametype, winners of tournaments etc.


To be able to use the chaos deck you would choose a trade option so it would selected like fulldeck is now. This deck would not be collectible.

We could go one step further. Set up portals avatars to be the same size as TT cards and let the players create their own card of themselves. Depending on player levels and memberships you can select the background color, level frames and display numbers (the stats for the avatar are for display purposes only on portal. The in game numbers of the cards will always be drawn randomly and layered each time they are drawn in a game for each player).

Until the announcement of the V4 upgrade this idea would have been simply too difficult to achieve. I am not trying to get a community deck created I was using that idea basically as a skin to cover the mechanics of my deck idea. Any theme could be applied to the chaos deck. The idea I am trying to put out there is a set of cards with ever changing numbers. Even if you and your opponent play the same card the numbers for all 4 sides would be different.

Honestly this could even evolve into another gametype. A chaos game would choose random rules and use the card set that basically acts like pandora's box (except the cards will have the numbers that are randomly chosen layerd onto them when drawn).

A problem with this. The cards would have to be changed every time the top players or guilds change.

like i mentioned in my last post it doesnt have to be a community deck.

IM NOT PITCHING THE IDEA OF A COMMUNITY DECK I AM PITCHING THE IDEA OF NEW DECK MECHANICS.

But to address the concern you have about changing the cards all the time a card can be made for the player/guild when they have met the required criteria. There would be a limited number of spots available in the deck. The fact that these cards have no preset card numbering/element it would be a simple change to update the deck to reflect the current leaders (keep in mind this wouldnt be an open until v4 comes out). Granted we can not have everybody and every guild available all the time. Those cards that do not meet the requirements will simply be left on the server and not listed in the deck index for use.

I would like to point out again this idea is not a pitch to get a community deck.
