Terrible idea for a plethora of reasons.

Though, I am curious as to why you want such a large increase in card size?

Because of current size is too low. Many cards looks pixelating...
Wait, i'll post an examples of resized, and you'll see...

get glasses and you'll be all set, and then you won't have to constantly bold your text.

Pixelation isn't caused by small images.

Forum avatars [100x100] and *.ICO (icon) files [32x32] for example.

Pixelation occurs due to compression or image stretching. All the cards are compressed for file size. There are a few decks that have high definition versions.

Either way, the card size will not be changing.

Improvement of a card resize.

Default 72x90 -> Resized 100x125 -> HQ 100x125
