Hey ppl,
I used to play on TTE a lot, but this is the first time I have been on in probably about a year, so I want to get back into the game, and what better what then making a deck.

So I am thinking of making a deck based on animated Movies from the likes of Pixar and DreamWorks, I was going to make it purely on Pixar but could possibly struggle in getting the number of cards required, So I’m thinking of just combining the two companies in a computer animated movie themed deck.

I don’t know where you stand on non game related decks, but I think due to the quality of animation it would look pretty sweet.
I don’t think a deck like this is being worked on, I looked through the forum and couldn’t find anything, but if there is let me know.

I am planning on making the deck anyway just to get me back into TTE, but if there is enough interest I will be more than happy to set up the .db to make it a proper deck.

So the movies I was thinking of including are as follows:
Pixar,
Toy Story
A Bugs Life
Monster Inc
Finding Nemo
The Incredibles
Ratatouille
Wall E
Up

DreamWorks,
Shrek
Chicken Run
Madagascar
Wallace and Gromit: The curse of the were rabbit
Bee movie

Others,
Ice Age

And any other suggestions welcome

I made up a few mock cards so you can get an idea of what this deck would look like

I just did a little estimation on the size of this deck, keeping in mind I may have missed a few characters. I have calculated that with all the movies stated above this deck will have a minimum of 130 cards. This number may increase depending on how many characters I missed, and if anyone want any other movies to be included

So Jinx you dont think I should make this as a stand alone deck, But include it in an Anime deck?

I like the idea but it can't be added to ANIME because it is not Japanese animation...I suggest something like ANIMATION or CG TOONS, and add every CGI movie thus far...why can't it be definite PIXAR deck, because there's a new movie every year, and we'd all like the new characters in the deck...they wouldn't come fast enough though to have a PIXAR 2 and PIXAR 3 decks...

When I decided to make this deck, I was just going to make it a pixar deck. But I found that it was going to be difficult to make a decent sized deck limited to just pixar films. And this way there is the option of making a second deck sooner as more films are released. If its only pixar, when a new film is released it will be a very long time before there is enough cards to put it into a deck.

I found a few more films I could include
Flushed Away
Happy Feet
Horton Hears a Who
The Magic Roundabout
Monsters vs Aliens
Open Season
Over the Hedge
Robots
Valiant

TMNT? are the turtles included in any decks?

Later on today I have some free time and am going to sort out all of the characters from the films above and putting them into level brackets, I am also going to attempt to make a large number of cards too.
So if there are any films you think are missing let me know, so I can include them when I sort them all out.

Yeah, that's good, but you're choosing some obscure ones there...ICE AGE and CORALINE and KUNG FU PANDA are far more popular...not many people watched FLUSHED AWAY or VALIANT...I know it's your deck and all, but you want to make it as collectable as possible...

I agree, dont worry, I recently wrote up all of the characters and all of the films I had so far.

I have been removing Films and characters that may not be very popular or collectable. So I can try to keep the quality of the cards as high as I can, rather than leaving cards in for the sake of keeping up the numbers.
