IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A LOAN, CONTACT A BANKER IN DARK WIND.
After a bit of planning and discussion, we hope to have created a fair bank system for the Dark Wind community. This bank will loan out both GP and Cards (at least the ones we have) for very manageable fees. So, if ever you are craving a card pack, see an amazing card for an amazing price but lack the GP, or just feel like being richer for a bit, this is the place to go. Also, if you believe you could dominate at a certain rule set but lack a specific card to meet your game's needs, we'll be obliged to loan you out that card for a designated amount of time.
Now, I will attempt to explain the entire Dark Wind Bank system in this thread, as it now stands. However, it is hoped that this system will be full proof and beneficial to all.
GP Loans
We will be loaning out GP to anyone in the Dark Wind community that desires a loan. This may amount between 0-5000 GP, no more. However, we will not be relying on the honor system to ensure payback. The bank will require a designated collateral (as security) for the GP loaned. I will display the numbers and explain using examples after.
GP Amounts.................Card Level
1-4................................Level 1 and Level 2
5-9................................Level 3 and Level 4
10-14............................Level 5
15-29............................Level 6
30-49............................Level 7
50-249..........................Level 8
250-499........................Level 9
500-1000......................Level 10
1000-X....................Combinations
If you were to borrow between 50 GP and 249 GP, you would be required to TEMPORARILY give a level 8 to the Bank. When you pay back the GP and the designated interest (this will be explained later), you will receive your card back. If you were to borrow 1500 GP, you would be required to give as collateral a Level 9 AND a Level 10. Again, they will be returned when the loan is paid back.
Card Loans
Cards may also be borrowed. They may be loaned for either GP or other cards as collateral.
Cards loaned with GP as collateral:
Card Level.............GP Amounts
Level 1-3......................50
Level 4-5.....................100
Level 6........................125
Level 7........................250
Level 8........................750
Level 9.......................1500
Level 10.....................2500
For example, if you were to borrow a Level 2 card, you would give the Dark Wind Bank 50 GP as collateral. When you return the card, you will receive your GP back, minus the interest fee.
Card loaned with other cards as collateral:
Two times the amount loaned. This may sound confusing, but it's actually quite simple. If you were to borrow a level 1 card, you would need to give as collateral two level 1's. When you return the bank's card, you will receive both of your cards back. However, a small interest fee will need to be paid when you return the card. This type of borrowing is for those who have no GP but still wish to borrow a card. So, when the person returns the borrowed level 1 card, they will pay a small percentage of 50 GP as designated above. If they borrowed a level 5 card (giving 2 level 5's as collateral), they would pay a small percentage of 100 GP (around 10GP). All these prices are reflected in the section above.
Since this portion is a little confusing, I will elaborate with a final example. Hitman wishes to borrow a level 7 card from the account. As collateral, he gives two other level 7's which will be returned to him when he returns the borrowed card. Three days later, he decides he'll now give the level 7 back in return for his two original level 7's. Since he is a Platinum member, he is required to pay 5% of 250 GP (which is 12.5 GP, rounded to 13 GP). So, only when he gives the level 7 card back AND 13 GP will he receive his cards back. I hope this clearly explains the process.
Interest Rates
The interest rates depend on how much business you have had with the bank in the past. The more money you borrow from the bank over time, the less your interest becomes. Here are the designated percentages:
Membership........Paid Interest Ranges
Normal(10%).................0-499
Diamond(9%)..............500-999
Bronze(8%)...............1000-1499
Silver(7%).................1500-1999
Gold(6%)..................2000-2499
Platinum(5%)...........2500 or More
Say you have borrowed 5000 GP from the Bank of a period of time. That will have meant you've given 500 GP in interest to the Bank. This means you have just become a Diamond Member, and now all your loans, whether it be GP or cards, only require a 9% interest payment instead of 10%.
For those of you who have made it this far, congrats. I'm sorry if it's confusing and if you have any specific questions, you can ask either Gilgamesh, Pakelika, Phoenix243, or myself (Andrew). Don't worry, before each loan is made, we will make as sure as we can that you understand the transaction taking place.
All transactions will last a week's time. If you borrow 1000 GP on Monday at 7:00 PM, it will be due the next Monday at 7:00 PM. Exceptions may be made depending on the situation. Once the transactions due date has past, the bank has the choice whether to accept the payment or not. However, a week's time should be plenty. We may be lenient, and we truly hope to accomodate your GP and card needs.
If your payment is late, you can do one of two things:
1) Pay an additional 2% interest per late day.
2) Give up your collateral for the loaned GP.
***When it has been more than 10 late days, your collateral will be forfeited automatically***
You CANNOT borrow GP to pay off a different loan you have with the bank.
Thanks peeps.
P.S. Exceptions such as SE cards and other rares will be taken into account of the price. Other exceptions may exist as well.
