Configuration Window problems a.k.a. Sound problems

Ok, I recently browsed through the TTE folder, and I found some sound files, so I got to wondering why no sounds were being played nor heard while I'm enjoying my time in TTE, so I asked around in the guild...

I was told I could change those settings on the Configuration Window, so I tried accessing it, but everytime I try to, I get this error message:

Component 'comdlg32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.
----------------------------

and then I get logged off. I tried several times to no avail, each with the same error message.

Can someone help me with this?

I'm running under Windows XP Media Center.

Type in run prompt:

regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\comdlg32.ocx

Your computer apparently refused to register that control/library file on installation.

tried that command and i got this error message:

LoadLibrary("c:\windows\system32\comdlg32.ocx") failed - The specified module could not be found.
--------------------------

so i checked my system32 folder, and here are the closest files I can find:
comctl32.dll
comctl32.ocx
comdlg32.dll
commdlg.dll

Seems that this' why your computer refused to register it, you'll have to find that file

ok, i got the file and installed it. i have some sounds now.

and the Configuration Window now loads.
