The Story of DW- beginning and the end

CHAPTER 1

The Beginning

It was 9:47pm...The rain was coming down harder than usual,
They all sat in the Dark Wind lobby as they all played their usual favourite past time Triple Triad and talked to each other.
But on this particular night was the few that would be plunged into the vortex of destiny, These few would realise that they would have to play triple triad in order order to survive the complex world in which they would enter at exactly Midnight.

It was nearing 10:30pm when Kasumi walked into the lobby,
"Hey everyone," said kasumi
"Hey kas" everone said at their own rate,
He walked upto Alvaro's table, and threw a piece of scrunched up paper at him
"hey, wake up alvaro, lets play a game!!"
" huh wha?!?" alvaro said as he was still half asleep
everyone laughed for a moment and returned to their games, and their talking.
it began nearing 11:00pm when J walked in
"hey J" everyone said.
"hey peeps" he replied.
and he sat down...and idled...such a genius this man was
"nub" Brain shouted at him
J just ignored him and carried on idling
it was about 11:45pm when the last person chosen by fate walked in, none other than Lucrecia herself
"hey lulu!" every shouted she was a popular person in the Dark Wind community
after everyone said there Hi's and Angelus hugged her she sat down,
"hey lu" J said whilst sitting in the corner forsome reason the corner being somewhat dim but J being visible
"hi Jayjay!" she said and waved at the same time
the huge grandfather clock in the Dark Wind lobby began chiming as the timer reached 12:00pm
J stood up...
"So...It begins" he said
everyone looked at J
"What's up J?" said Lu
"This is it, The time to decide if we really can save the world"
with this said the rain stopped, a huge burst of light shot through the lobby windows and everything was engulfed in the bright light...and with that.. the dark Wind manor just dissapeared...vanished into thin air...

(Even myself, i dont think its that good, but i consider it to be a prologue, but anyways, the server is down, so i shall type till my fingers go nice red colours)

Eventually, after the bright light dissapeared, the main DW lobby was littered with unconscious bodies, all of them still in good health, just knocked out...

The first to awake was Brain...he looked around the room
"Sweeeeeet" he said as he began rifling through peoples pockets for their hard-earned gp, he went to search through Jay's pocket, but jumped for his life after Jay grabbed his arm and said
" have everyone else's but don't touch mine"
brain stood for a moment...still...then nodded as both him and J raided everyones pockets...they refused to touch their cards however...just their gp
"Well, that was fun" Brain said as he put it all in his bag
"Indeed" Jay replied
after that they decided to try and wake everyone else up
"Its hopeless, these nubs sleep too much and now look" Brain said getting himself into a rage
"Screw this, if they aren't gonna wake up, I'll go without them" with this said he walked out of the lobby and disspeared as he walked further and further down the corridor
Jay thought to himself as he watched Brain go...
"not good" he said to himself "definately not good"
he sat down and just waited for the others to wake up, he looked at the clock...the hands were wtill moving and the pendulum...still swinging, as if they were still exactly where they were, he steeped upto the window, it was still dark outside...therefore not much could be seen, he st back down in the chair and slowly began fallin asleep...

Day broke and everyone in the DW lobby finally awoke, when they all regained consciousnous they all began asking questions, but more importantly, what did Jay do
"Care to explain what the hell happned Jay?" said Lu
"No" he said with a quick reply
"what the hell was that bright light?" she asked again
"It was what it was, things too complex for us to understand, for we cannot go back to our own world, We are stuck here...." he said
Jay proceeded in pointing at the window
"look outside, you will see this isn't our world"
everyone rushed to the wndow to see a wasteland with very few trees. A single river which was barely running, and a signle, solitary house made out of, what appeared to be mud...
Angelus Grabbed Jay"What the hell did you do? where the hell are we??"
"I told you, we are in another world, I didn't do anything"
"Don't lie to me!"
"I'm not lying! I've been having visions, dreams, nightmares of this happening for the past 2 months"
"pssh fine, for once I believe you" he let go of Jay
"next time you do that i won't go easy on you"
"screw this" Angelus ran back at J about to punch him in the face when Alvaro jumped in and grabbed Angelus' fist
"The Enemy is out there. NOT in here"
"..." Angelus walked and stood by the window and looked out of it and sighed
"Jay, if you know anything, I think its best if we all know" said Alvaro
"That is all I know, I'm telling the truth"
"ok, we'll leave it at that, for the moment we better just go back to our dorms, and check on anyone else to see if they are Ok"
within a few seconds the DW lobby was empty except for Angelus, he just sat there, staring at the wasteland which was all the eye could see
Jay walked to his room and threw his cards on his bed,and sat down at his PC, turned it on and began loading up, he tried to access the internet but there was no connection, the world change had made everyones PC have no internet access, with this he thought and lay down on his bed and just stared at his ceiling.
in the room next door, Lu was busy Drawing, because in times of confusion she draws to take her mind off things, Gilgamesh, the Strongest member of the DW society was busy sharpening his blades, as his policy was that his Zantetsu could resolve any situation, Alvaro was in his looking through his collection of books which he had collected over the years to see if there was any chance they could get back, he found "The History of DarkWind and Triple Triad" tucked between his "Harry Potter" and "My First ABC" books,
"ah-ha" he said as he began flicking through it and scanning every bit of info, In the room over Bubbles was busy feeding the ducks that she stolen rom the DarkWind coservatory, everyone kept finding her with them, And repeatedly kept putting them back, but she would sneak out at night and steal them from the indoor pond, Kasumi was remaking his bed because it was his upper most duty to keep his room clean at all times...
It began nearing 12:00pm and everyone of them was doing their own personal things in their rooms, not knowing what was going on, or where they were, or what happened to Brain, he should have been back by now...but neither one questioned as it only caused arguments...they would have busy lives over the next few days, but they did not know this

Chapter 3 (yes i know i forgot the chapter 2 in the other one, cant be arsed to change it XD)

as the day passed no-one ventured outside, or into the DW lobby, For everyone lost the will to play Triple Triad due to these circumstances, Lumi ventured from his room, Silent, Not saying a word as he ventured down the corridor, Stopping at everyones rooms and checking up on them, with his accomplice, Jaxy.
Together they reassured everyone that everything will be Ok they reached the last room...Jay's room, they knocked...no answer...They knocked again...still no answer...before they knocked a third time, Jay answered the door.
"Hey Jay, How ya holding up?" said Lumi concerned about each and everyone of his members
"hey golddigger" Jaxy attempting at cracking a joke but no-one laughing
"hey guys" Jay replied in a low and sad voice
"you Ok? you look like you got something on your shoulder, wanna talk about it?"
Jaxy said, now rather concerned at Jay's response
"yeh, I'm fine, i just love the fact how I'm getting blamed for this mess"
"I don't blame you" said Lumi
"Neither do I" said Jaxy
"Thanks guys"
"No Problem, we'll see ya later, I trust you will be comin' for dinner?" Lumi asked
"Yeh, I'll see if I can make it" he replied
With that, Lumi and Jaxy left his room, and closed the door behind them, Jay returned to his bed, lay down and began looking at the ceiling again...soon to be interrupted by another knock at his door, with a sigh he got back up again and answered it,
"hello?" he answered looking down...then looking up, stood in his doorway was bubbles
"HI JAY" she shouted as jay clutched his ears
"Good god woman, tone it down, sheesh"
"Hehe, sorry"
"I's Ok, whats the matter seeing as you knock on my door?"
"I 'unno she said, just wanted to come see you" she smiled and began waving
"Mkay...well hiya" he waved back
"Well, 'll seeya later!" as she headed of to the conservatory, Jay watched as she walked in the direction...
"Those poor ducks" he said with a faint laugh
several hours passed and everyone began to meet at the dinner hall, where food was prepared for DW's many members, once everyone was seated, Lumi began talking about the current situation, while the greedy people already began eating before he had finished, Gilgy began throwing peas at everyone who he saw eating, because Gilgy hated being beaten to finish his meal, his no.1 hate some might say. After his speech, Lumi sat down and put his head leaning on his hand and sighed...His servants of darkness all sitting either side of him... The PA members table to the right, with their Leader in the top Chair, The FC table, with Jay in the Top Chair, and everyone else on the lower tables of the room , as they didnt really matter to anyone. Apart from a select few
After the dinner, just before everyone headed back to their rooms, Lumi shouted,
"Tomorrow, we find out what is outside, no-one go outside till then, if you need the fresh air or need a moonlit walk, then i suggest the conservatory, no bubbles, you cannot go, because you keep taking the ducks back to your room"
"awww, ok" Bubbles said with a sad look on her face
With that everyone returned to their rooms, and retiring for the night.
Lu sat in her room drawing as usual when her phone began bleeping, showing signs of a text message, she picked her phone up and began reading the text, it read

"Meet me in the conservatory at midnight, I have something to tell you, come alone, or bring someone if you must, no-one like Jay, Angelus or Gilgy, see you there"

she sat confused for a moment, and decided she would go alone, as she new she was capable of looking after herself, even though it was always angelus that needed his hand holding whenever they went out, her clock struck midnight, and she put her shoes on adn headed for the conservatory, howveer what she didnt know, is that Alliance was sitting up on the beams above the corridor...he stared at lu, and began following her, being that quiet that she couldn't see or hear him.
She continued to proceed to the consevatory, and sat down on the bench, waiting for the sender of the message, little did she still know that Alliance was literally breathing down her neck as he sat in a nearby bush and kept a close eye on her, then she stood up as she saw a figure closing in on her, she gulped and stood their, Alliance knew if this person was hostile, whoever it was, he would help Lu, she began talking to them
"Who are you?"
"My name is not important, but the question is, are you ready?"
"Ready for what?"
"The beginning of the end, The fight for your life, The Trial to see whether or not you make it back home to your real world, or be banished here forever"
"I have no idea WHAT you are talking about, but we will see through this, I know we will" her voice toned up a little higher.
"Such a futile attempt, One who knows nothing can understand nothing, I will leave, But heed my words of wisdom or you shall never leave, Seek the one who left, For he will truly be your only hope"
With that, He dissapeared, and Lu just stod there, and all of a sudden she heard snoring, and look for the source of the snore, she found itcoming from a bush, she pulled back the bush leaves and noticed Alliance asleep, so she let go of the leaves and left him there
"well, thats kinda strange, but oh well" she headed back to her room

Day broke and everyone reawakened at the new day, And for the exploration of the outside. several members chose to stay, But Lumi knew he could trust his finest to not abandon him, Jaxy, Bubbles, Jay, Gilgy, Angelus, Lu, Alvaro, Kasumi, God, Jesus and Andrew.
Together they all stood at the large front door leading to the outside of the DW manor
"you guys ready?" Lumi said
"yeah!" they all shouted
"lets go" he replied
Lumi pushed the doors open and they all glared upon the wasteland...
"I think we should go check out that hut...looks kinda funny lookin' " said Angelus
"Is it me or does he always point out the obvious?" said Jay
"Knock it off guys" said Alvaro
They headed for the small hut, and stopped a few metres away...
"Who is gonna check it out?"
"We will!!" said God and Jesus
God and Jesus proceeded to the hut, and ventured inside, They searched the hut and returned to lumi with a piece of really old and scrunched up paper, Lumi unfolded it, it read

"To get back to your own world, you must pass the tests using not only your own skills developed from your own personal hobbies, But through triple triad aswell, its the only way, Head north from here for 10 miles, Then once you reach the waterfall, Face east and head another 5 miles, there you will find the colloseum, you are to meet with me there, I will be waiting for you...
"Then you know what this means, we move...!" said Lumi
They all began Heading north, in search of their first stop, the waterfall...

(first thing i did once i read your replies is click on post reply you wanted it you got it, but this might be short and no thought put into whatsoever as I just woke up and its like 7:00am)

The wasteland was hot, the extreme heat was beginning to get to everyone, No-one realised that 10 miles was a really long distance to walk, They were all beginning to get tired as they reached about 7 miles...
"I dunno how much longer I can go on..." Kasumi said panting for breath
"We can make this, Lets not give up now" Gilgy said as he threw Kasumi's arm around his shoulder, and continuing on
just after that, footsteps could be heard in the distance They turned around and Midnight and Wakka were running towards the team
"Lumina! the DW manor......burned down......everyone safe....." Midnight said gasping for breath as he droped to the floor, Wakka falling close behind.
Pick 'em up, the sooner we reach the waterfall the better" said Lumi as angelus grabbed midnight, and Jay grabbed wakka, and they continued on...
as they walked they began talking
"Wonder why its burned down" asked Jaxy
"Probably because they dont want us to go back to our own world, they want us to stay here and die, with no manor we are almost completely useless..."
"the duckies!!!" Bubbles shouted really loud
everyone clutched their ears
"geez someone needs to stop her from shouting, its kinda evil letting her shout all the time" said Angelus
"Live with it" said Jay
"..." The rivalry began rising with these two ever since they came here
at 3:34 they reached the watefall, and i giant lake...nothing was there, it was surrounded by trees and many fruit trees at that, they all jumped into the water regardless of dangers, or anything else that would happen
"Ahh this is so much better" alvaro said as he let out a sigh and lay on the water, floating along, they all began swimming as this was cool wter and it refreshed them, Atleast they only had to go 5 miles once they decided to set off again, they all looked at peace here as they swam about and sat at the side, but they all sighed and moaned as soon as they had to leave, Because they couldnt stay there for long.
They all began moving again, this time, Kasumi, Midnight and Wakka had regained their strentgh and was walking alongside the team, the walked for 5 miles eats of the waterfall, And stood before A giant colosseum, they neared the doors but 5 people either side could not budge it open.
"This is gonna be a problem" said Lumi
"We'll find a way" said Lu looking around
Then all of a sudden, the doors just began moving, these doors were made form stone, so they made a grinding sound as they opened slowly to let the DW team into its walls, they didnt question this, and just proceeded through the doors, andrew was still waiting outside insopecting the colloseum from the outside, and as the doors began closing , he noticed taht they all went through
"crap!!" he ran for the door but it closed before he could make it, and he banged his fists against the door
"Damn, Damn, Damn!" he shouted, as the team walked into the center of the First colloseum battle ground a mysterious, thundering voice said, 1 already lost, you really are off to a good start,
"What?!?!" Lumi said as he was searching his team
"Where's Andrew??" said jaxy
"He's gone, trapped on the outside of the walls of this colloseum, he was not chosen to enter this colloseum as you few were" the voice said
"Are you prepared for your trial? Will you overcome your worst enemy in the skill that you are good at?"
Jay stepped forward
"We will be ready for whatever you throw at use. we wont lose THAT easily, we have to get back to our own world, You'll see..."
"Then so be it, let the first challange begin, the first trial is the martial arts trial, Thats right Wakka, This is your trial, Step up, for your enemy is yourself..."
With that, wakka stepped into the center, and a shadowrose from the ground, and stood before him, His eyes widened as this shadow turned into, and looked exactly like him
"now this is what these trials are all about, conquering yourself which is no easy feat"
"ok, lets do this!" wakka said putting on his martial arts headband
The two fought for an hour, each knowing exactly what the other would do, both panting for breath...but finally the real Wakka slipped up as he attempted to try his Tang soo do, but failed as His shadow knocked him to the ground, Wakka had fallen he got back up and ruched at his shadow, but a giant cage formed around him...he was trapped, eEveryone rushed to break him free, but these bars were to strong , and not even Gilgy' zantetsu would work, And it was the strongest sword known to man...with this the voice said
"That's 2 down now...you really are not doing well"
"Grr" Lumi said as the doors to the next room opened,
"We cant leave wakka!" said Kasumi...
"We have no choice, we have to move on" said Jay
"I won't leave him on his own!"
"Is that what you want?" the voice asked
"Yes" replied Kasumi
"So be it"
Then a giant cage surrounded Kasumi, for he was now trapped alongside Wakka
"3 down..." the voice said
"we go to the next room, we have no choice" Lumi said as the team pressed onwards and on into the next room, and they turned abck and saw Kasumi and Wakka in behind the bars, and slowly watched them dissapear as the doors closed...
