Ok, first the old: Bring back Quadmist. The Questria Quadmist. It was a very good game and it would add another game to the DW library. I'm pretty sure that a simple little program could be made to randomly add the arrows to the cards each game.
Even if it followed the OTT formula of getting your cards one at a time it would be fun.

Right, the new:
It's a turn based fight game. A bit like the Suikoden 2 battle sub-game.
Basically, you have a grid-map. On it you have a castle belonging to your 'army'. While your 'Hero' character is on the castle square he can buy new troops to expand your army. To get money to do this you have to take control of smaller checkpoints on the map (they all start neutral). At the start of each turn you get a maintenance or upkeep to add money to your bank.
The object of the game is to occupy your opponents Castle. Simple as that. There is your opponent try to do the same to you though. Each player uses their own Avatar as their 'Hero'. Each unit type that can be bought will have its own stats (attack and defence). Some units will have special abilities such as archers being able to attack from a distance or the priests bringing dead units back to life as skeletons/zombies... maybe he should be a Necromancer?

When units are adjacent to each other they can fight. This would be a simple atk/def calculation, taking into account if a unit is on terrain that gives it a defence bonus. All units have 100hp.. ALL. Its just the units defence and attacks that differ. Perhaps even an elemental effect for unit types.

Well, Atom, you told me you could program anything ... go for it XD

This was my intention for QX and V2, both times. This is similiar to Kartia.

That looks awesome X.X bah, if this comes out i wont be able to stop playing again >.< good shout with the random arrow placements on the cards aswell, would make the game a hell of a lot more interresting.

Quadmist was very interesting, i liked it, it would be a good idea to get it back.

This new "Card Wars" *thinks* *keeps thinking*

I think......... you should make it animat-abley (no idea of the word i want) so you see your ava actually actually move to the new square, and when you attack, you see an attack, you see your guy/girl attack, and etc.

Note: being able to occupy and move at the same turn = nono, makes it to easy

i was fully intending to animate it. The hardest part is the attacking part.. i mean, make it on the map screen or make it happen in a little window?

a new window would become annoying

say you were to have a light blue (any colour) transparent box come up in the game and you do the attack and damage is done, then that box closes and its back to the game

Uhh.. Did that make sense >.>

Whoever says they don't care about QM must be a noob to all of atomsplit and the teams work :O.

QM was the hottest game back on Questria. Thats mostly why people would always look for all the good cards like Sephiroth and stuff because they owned most cards. Tetra master is one of the biggest minigames in the FF series. I sure do hope it comes back.
